Day 11: Nottingham Road to Cane Cutters Resort
After a great night’s rest at Montgomery Brett’s farm just outside of Nottingham Road we are gearing up for a busy day, first stop is a coffee with the QuadPara Association (QASA) in Ashley, Pinetown. The team are in good spirits as Bushy McKelvey gives a thumbs up, let’s get this day started!
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Rough Rider, Dr. Andre Kruger from Hoogland Health Hydro, the main sponsor of the Chutzpah Adventure Tour. He left early from Nottingham Road back to Hoogland Health Hydro. Thank you for being an awesome Rider Andre! We will surely miss you.
Dave Barr and the Rough Riders arrive for a visit at the Ashley Village in Pinetown.
This house is a project of the QuadPara Association of KwaZulu-Natal. The residents were all very warm and the cup of coffee was most welcoming. Milo their rescued dog from Kuwait couldn’t get enough of cowboy Beau.
QASA we thank you for your stories and warm welcome, you were absolutely fabulous hosts.
Next we were at the Queensburg Cheshire Home with some outdoor entertainment and good vibes.
Nothing is better than an outdoor music festival with some of the best potjiekos you will ever taste.
This is the beautiful Pearl Mason meeting Dave Barr. She use to ride a 250cc and we enjoyed her company on a warm sunny day in KwaZulu-Natal.
Lovely ending to the day at the All Saints in Umhlali, KZN with the Rhino Art Foundation.
We were tired after a long day but it was a special day always to be remembered.
