Day 12: Salt Rock to Nkwalini

Be calm and get on a micro light. Before we left, four of the Chutzpah Rough Riders woke up for an early micro flight over the beautiful coastline and sugarcane field of Groutville.

We definitely have some of the best coastlines in South Africa.

Surrounded by the sweet smell of sugarcane and the blue ocean we were ready for the day ahead. You can see by the grin on Bill Lebeda’s face that pilot blood runs strong in him.

Before we knew it we were back on the road travelling through Zululand.

It was a humbling experience driving through the midlands of KwaZulu-Natal where huts speak of life lived simple in the vast beauty of the mountains ranges.

Airforce Von or better said, braaimaster of the day, fed us some of the best braai we’ve ever tasted! We’re immensely greatful his company around South Africa and of course the sposored Toyota Double Cab, it’s comfortable and best of all STRONG. Truly a Rough Rider of note. Mooi man.
